We recently participated in the Tourism Leaders Meeting – Spring 2023, a noteworthy event that signifies a pivotal step forward in the evolution of the tourism industry. During this inspiring conference, participants had the opportunity to review the previous year and discuss the future and prospects of the tourism sector. The agenda included topics such as:
- Results of the prior season
- Forecasts for the summer season
- The impact of economic and political situations on consumer sentiment
- Anticipated penalties from the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK) for tour operators and agents
The conference began with informal conversations and networking among attendees. The organizers presented the results of the 2022 tourism season and the travel agency ranking for 2023.
After a lunch break, there was an inspiring discussion among politicians on the future of Polish tourism following the parliamentary elections.
The next part of the event featured a conversation with the President of Polish Airports, during which participants could ask questions and share their thoughts.
There were also discussions on the impact of artificial intelligence on the industry’s development. Agnieszka Kukałowicz – a founder of Qtravel.ai, conducted a presentation introducing attendees to this innovative technology and showcasing its revolutionary capabilities. It was an excellent opportunity to demonstrate how AI can change the face of tourism, including booking processes, offering personalization, and improving travel companies’ efficiency.
We want to thank everyone with whom we had the opportunity to meet and talk during this event.
See you in future editions!
